Privacy Policy for craftypots.studio

We take your privacy seriously

The European Union GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requires that a site documents their privacy policy and what they do with the data they collect if there is any chance a EU citizen can access it so here we go:

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When you email us, or submit a party request or website question, or join the email subscriber list we collect your first name, last name and your email address so that we can correspond with you.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We use cyberimpact.ca, a Canadian email service to send out our marketing emails and maintain the email subscriber list. If you have joined the email list your information will be added to that list at cyberimpact.ca.

You can see their privacy policy here: https://app.cyberimpact.com/privacy-policy

When you purchase a product on craftypots.studio, the transaction is handled by Moneris, a well known payment processor, your credit card provider, and our bank. You can check their privacy policy on their respective homepages. We never see or have any access to the creditcard information you enter.

We use woocommerce for the storefront. You can see the woocommerce policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

How long we retain your data

We retain your name and email and past correspondence indefinitely. This is so we can follow up on past questions.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we delete your email address and name from the email subscriber list. If you just want to stop emails from us, the easiest way is simply to use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. This does not delete your entry, just marks it inactive so you won’t receive further emails. The request to delete does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes or regular email correspondence.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Changes to this privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, a note which details the changes from the earlier version will be added to the end of the page, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
